We Are Summit United

Our Mission

Summit United is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that dedicated its first two years to helping high school seniors from underserved communities get into college. As Summit United embarked on its third year in 2022, we were driven to expand our mission to also serve students navigating the graduate/law school admissions process through our Graduate Expansion Initiative. This initiative empowers scholars with the tools to put together a compelling story for a graduate admissions committee, resources to find scholarship opportunities, and navigate the financial aid process.

Our Vision

We are determined to unite the next generation of leaders by connecting prospective applicants with graduate school coaches attending elite institutions like Harvard, Yale, Oxford, the University of Michigan, Notre Dame, and the Hertie School in Berlin. Each SU Scholar is paired with a coach who has extensive experience in crafting captivating personal statements and resumes and applying for and winning national fellowships and scholarships. In addition to one-on-one virtual coaching sessions, our scholars gain access to grad school-related workshops and networking opportunities. Our coaches can help you with the following:

Our Impact

We are committed to increasing students’ awareness of their postgraduate options, assisting them through their application process, and empowering them with knowledge of financial aid opportunities. Our scholars not only receive guidance and support from incredibly talented coaches, but they also join a cohort of inspiring future graduate students that are destined for greatness.
